Once your club has affiliated and you have joined your club on riderhq, you can affiliate to the League. Here's how to do that.

 Affiliation for 2022

  

Kent Cycle Racing League (formerly known as South East Road Race League) and Surrey Cycle Racing League now operate with joint league club and individual affiliation, meaning affiliation below cover you for both leagues.

Any club can affiliate to the Kent Cycle Racing League (KCRL) / Surrey Cycle Racing League (SCRL) provided that:

  • Each club/team promotes 2 events.
  • Each club/team appoints an Organiser for each event promoted.
  • Each club/team appoints a Club Representative who shall be responsible for the generally liaising between their riders and the Leagues.
  • Each club/team has a member who is a commissaire or appoints a member to train as a Commissaire.
  • Each club/team has a member who is an Accredited Marshal or appoints a member to train as an Accredited Marshal.
  • Each club/team has filled out a KCRL / SCRL club application form. (link at bottom of page)
  • Each club/team pays an affiliation fee of £60.00
  • If a club/team has 3 or more riders riding KCRL SCRL events, that club/team must join the League

Any rider can affiliate to the KCRL / SCRL provided that:

  • Each rider is a member of the British Cycling Federation.
  • Each rider is a member of a KCRL / SCRL affiliated club/team.
  • Each rider has filled out a KCRL / SCRL online membership form and joined online. (link at bottom of page)
  • Each rider has supplied the Surrey Cycle Racing League with a passport-sized photo of him/herself.
  • Each rider has paid the Surrey Cycle Racing League affiliation fee of £25 senior men, £12.50 senior ladies, £12.50 juniors, or £5 youth.
  • Each rider has paid their transponder yearly subscription of £39.00 (for the first year, which includes price of the transponder + 1 year’s subscription), £20 for further years (just subscription fee)

Private Members and Day Members will be permitted to ride KCRL / SCRL events provided that:

  • Each rider is a member of the British Cycling Federation or has      taken out a day license.
  • Private members can only enter events 21 days in advance or on the day.
  • Day members can on enter events on the day.
  • They hire a transponder on the day for the that race. (£5.00)

Other Information:

  • BCF points are available at all KCRL / SCRL events including time      trials.
  • KCRL / SCRL points count towards      the overall position in the KCRL / SCRL rankings and convert to money at the end of the season.
  • The cost for registered riders entering a road event or evening handicap is £22.00 in advance or £22.00 on the line. In the case of circuit events, the cost is £17.00.
  • The cost for non-registered riders entering a road event or evening handicap is £27.00 in advance or £27.00 on the line. In the case  of circuit events the cost is £22.00.
